COVID-19 Safety Measures and Information

We want you to feel comfortable and safe when you come to the clinic, so we have put measures in place to limit risk and provide reassurance to all our clients.

Before booking into the clinic:

  • We have an updated consultation process where we conduct a telephone triage with all clients.  This is so we can decide with you if a face-to-face appointment is the safest and most appropriate choice.  As an alternative we offer video consultations, which have proved very effective for many clients.
  • A pre appointment questionnaire, covering specific Covid-19 risk factors and symptom checks will be completed before every booking.
  • Prior to attending your appointment, you must inform us if you or anyone in your household have any of the following symptoms, and self-isolate following government guidelines:
    • High temperature (above 37.5 degrees C)
    • New, continuous or persistent cough
    • Change in taste or smell

What to expect with Face-to-Face clinic appointments – it’s different… but not that different!

Things you need to know before arriving at the clinic:

  • Please arrive wearing a face covering before entering the practice.
  • Please arrive with as few belongings as possible.
  • Clean your hands as soon as you enter the practice with your personal hand sanitiser or with the one provided at the reception.
  • Arrive just before the time of your appointment. If you arrive earlier, we ask you, where practicable, to please wait outside the practice until the time of your appointment.
  • Please respect social distancing between other clients and reception staff.
  • We ask that you attend on your own where possible. If you do require someone to come with you, that’s no problem, but we ask that they also conform to the safety measures above.

Go Physio Clinic safety measures in place:

  • Your physio will ask you some COVID-19 symptoms screening questions again, to ensure you are still symptom free.
  • Your physiotherapist will be wearing medical grade PPE.
  • Treatment sessions will be spaced out to avoid contact with other clients and to allow cleaning/sanitising of all surfaces in between appointments.
  • We use single use paper couch roll and wipe clean pillows. We no longer have towels in the treatment rooms. Any equipment used is cleaned immediately after use.

Payment of Sessions: 

  • If your booking wasn’t made online and you’re not covered by insurance, the preferred method of payment will be using our Contactless Card Machines suitable for all card types and Apple/Google Pay directly with your physio after the session.
