Adding to our wide range of expert services at Go Physio, Independent Expert Ms Nicky Badman conducts Medico-legal assessments (also via remote video link), preparing reports for solicitors regarding musculo skeletal injuries sustained through road traffic accidents.

Nicky is a highly experienced HCPC and CSP registered physiotherapist who assesses and treats musculo skeletal problems on a daily basis. She is very accustomed to the specific assessment requirements for whiplash type injuries sustained in road traffic accidents and is well positioned for conducting Medico-legal assessments and reports of this nature.
She is a member of the Medico-legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP) who promote the highest standards of Medico-legal practice for Chartered Physiotherapists. Our Go Physio team has a proven understanding of the Medico-legal process, ensuring a professional, efficient and personable service from beginning to end.
Medico-legal assessments can be conducted across all of our 6 South Wales clinic locations, and we offer varied appointment times and days at the most convenient location for the claimant. We understand that swift appointment bookings and report submission is paramount. To ensure that the claimant can begin any recommended treatment as soon as possible, we will always offer an appointment within 48 hours of instruction and guarantee reports are submitted within 5 days of the assessment.
All reports are prepared in accordance of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR Part 35) and Practice Direction (PD35) as well as being detailed, professional, relevant and clearly written.

Video Medico-legal Assessments
While clients may be shielding or self-isolating due to COVID-19, Nicky can undertake medico-legal assessments effectively via remote video link, rather than the usual face-to-face clinic based setting. This enables the client to move forward and speedily progress with any recommended treatment – helping resolve their injuries as well as avoiding delays in their claim.
As with our physiotherapy video consultations, video medico-legal assessments are conducted professionally and securely using smart, user-friendly technology.
